Develop Your Character Strengths in Three Phases
Our top character strengths affect who we are, what we value, what is important to us, and why we respond or act the way we do.
According to the Values in Action Inventory (VIA) Institute on Character, knowing your character strengths helps you connect with people, overcome challenges, find success and enjoy life.
You will likely have five to seven character strengths you use regularly.
- What are examples of how I use my top character strengths?
- How do my character strengths help me reach my goals?
- How am I already using my character strengths to build strong personal and professional relationships?
Develop an action plan to improve a specific strength. Take steps to bring those qualities to your life to obtain greater happiness, higher achievement, better health and stronger relationships.
