Take Charge Campaign Image
Take Charge Campaign: “Take Charge” demonstrates the importance of stopping missteps early by framing wellness, health and fitness as essential leadership actions that support primary prevention. Its bold visuals grab attention and connect with Soldiers’ training mindset, making the message mission focused. It closes the knowledge gap by confronting THC and substance misuse directly and offering clear, empowering facts that support secondary prevention. The campaign inspires action through personal accountability, shifting behaviors from following others to taking control, which reinforces tertiary prevention.
Honor Your Why Campaign Image
Honor Your Why Campaign: “Honor Your Why” interrupts the distraction spiral, reminding Soldiers that their purpose is greater than shortcuts that derail their mission. It links real risks of THC to future goals, offering guidance for those beginning to show at-risk behaviors. By reconnecting actions with aspirations, it supports recovery and resilience for Soldiers working to regain focus. The message reinforces that high performance requires clarity, strength and discipline, not substances. Its adaptability ensures every Soldier sees their own motivation reflected, whether that is Family, career or personal growth. Uplifting visuals and language tie accountability to aspiration, encouraging Soldiers to move forward with honor and purpose.
Real Talk Campaign Image
Real Talk Campaign: “Real Talk” speaks to younger Soldiers in the way they communicate. Instead of using formal language or preachy warnings, it mirrors the straight, unfiltered conversations Soldiers have in the barracks, in group chats or during downtime. Younger service members value authenticity, peer credibility and messages that acknowledge their real experiences, pressures and challenges. “Real Talk” does exactly that by addressing substance misuse without judgment, exaggeration or scare tactics. It meets them where they are, using relatable examples, simple truths and a conversational tone that builds trust. By framing THC and other risks as obstacles to personal power, not moral failures, it helps younger Soldiers see how their choices connect directly to their future, their performance and their freedom.
