Counselors, Physicians and other Experts

  • Military And Family Life Counselor can help adults and children navigate everyday challenges, including issues related to deployment, stress, moving, relationships, work, the grieving process and more.
  • School Liaisons are subject matter experts on K-12 grade education regarding the transition of military dependents attending public, private and home schools.
  • Telemynd is an online resource to meet with licensed mental health providers.

Programs & Capabilities

  • Army Community Service maintains community readiness and resiliency through a wide range of educational opportunities, special events, individualized counseling services, and other offerings.
  • Army Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention program directs the Army’s efforts in the prevention of and response to sexual harassment, sexual assault and associated retaliatory behaviors.
  • Army Morale, Welfare & Recreation offers sports and fitness opportunities on all installations.
  • Army Suicide Prevention program educates and trains active duty, reserve and National Guard Soldiers, Army Civilians and Family members on suicide prevention and postvention actions to minimize the risk of suicide.
  • Community Resource Guides list programs and services available to members of US military communities including military service members, their family members, DoD civilian personnel and retirees.
  • Enterprise Exceptional Family Member program is a mandatory enrollment program that assists active duty military Families who have a Family member that has been identified as having special medical and/or educational needs.

  • Army Public Health Center supports our Nation by improving health and building readiness–making extraordinary experiences ordinary and exceptional outcomes routine.
  • Army Wellness Centers are an actionable platform delivering evidence-based programs that improve individual and unit performance and readiness, utilizing advanced testing technology to provide immediate feedback to improve Soldier readiness delivered by highly trained health & human performance professionals.
  • Health of the Army Family initiative aims to better understand the health needs and concerns of Army Families and take action to keep the Army strong.
  • Health of the Force improves awareness and understanding of the health status of the Army.
  • Military Health System is responsible for providing health services through both direct care and private sector care to approximately 9.5 million beneficiaries, composed of uniformed service members, military retirees, and family members.
  • TRICARE is the health care program for active duty, retired, and eligible family members of the U.S. military worldwide.
