Army Medicine's primary mission is to support the Total Force by enabling readiness and conserving the fighting strength while caring for our people and their Families.

TRICARE is the Army’s Health Insurance plan and provides health, dental, vision and prescription coverage. TRICARE brings together military hospitals and clinics with a network of civilian healthcare professionals, institutions, pharmacies and suppliers.

TRICARE offers a wide variety of publications to support the health and well-being of Soldiers and Families.

    MHS GENESIS is the patient portal where Soldiers and Families can access medical records, make appointments, view lab results and request medications. Please note that hard copies of medical records are no longer used.

Additional Health Care Resources

  • Exceptional Family Member Program provides comprehensive support and services to Families with special medical or educational needs.
  • Healthcare Flexible Spending Accounts are accounts where Soldiers and Families can enroll and elect to have a portion of their paycheck set aside in a benefit account on FSAFEDS.gov.
  • Military and Family Life Counselors can help adults and children navigate everyday challenges, including issues related to deployment, stress, moving, relationships, work, the grieving process and more.
  • School Liaisons are subject matter experts on K-12 grade education regarding the transition of military dependents attending public, private and home schools.
  • Telemynd is an online resource to meet with licensed mental health providers.
