
S&R Mission:
Develop, oversee, and interpret/translate foundational research to test assumptions, build an Army-specific evidence base, and fill critical knowledge gaps in violence prevention, culture and climate.

S&R Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, and oversee three foundational research portfolios on violence prevention, culture and climate: (1) sexual assault, sexual harassment and gender discrimination; (2) suicide; and (3) integrated prevention. Serve as senior scientific SMEs for the Army on violence prevention, culture and climate. Develop and validate scientific assessments.
