Support and Resilience

The Army is working to ensure that Soldiers and Families with unique needs receive Quality of Life support through tailored programs and services that teach life skills and reduce risk factors, including behavioral health, financial readiness and the Exceptional Family Member Program.

Resources

Events and Educational Programming

  • Resilience in Focus is a monthly series of tools and infographics that cover common challenges like how to manage stress, becoming more optimistic, cultivating mindfulness and beyond.
  • Resilience Round Up podcast is a monthly DPRR series that offers resources to help Soldiers maintain resilience and not just cope, but learn, grow and thrive. Dynamic speakers will present helpful information in a more conversational style setting. The podcast will serve as a forum for discussing the latest research, policies and tools.
  • Webinars are, hosted monthly by DPRR, focused on topics relevant to the field. These webinars serve as a forum for learning, exchanging ideas, and discussing the latest research, policies, tools and best practices with leading practitioners and national subject matter experts.
  • YouTube channel, hosted by DPRR, offers training and education that will empower leaders and Soldiers to demonstrate resilience. With over 140 offerings, the channel provides podcasts, webinars and other learning opportunities on a variety of key topics.

Programs

  • Army Digital Giving is the US Army Chaplain online tithe and offerings site.
    • Army’s Digital Garrison app features installation information and connections to a full array of on-post services and events. It’s available for free download in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
  • Army Morale, Welfare and Recreation Home Page (IMCOM G9) serves and supports the U.S. Army Community needs, interests and responsibilities.
  • Army Reserve Family Programs is a comprehensive blend of quality-of-life programs in support of Department of Defense activities. Family Programs is a Commander's force multiplier for mission readiness.
  • Exceptional Family Member Program works with other military and civilian agencies to provide comprehensive and coordinated community support, legal support, housing, educational, medical and personnel services to Army Families with special needs members.
  • Financial Frontline supports Soldiers’ ability to successfully prepare for and complete their missions by reducing distractions from unresolved financial issues by providing financial tips and resources.
  • Gold Star Survivors provides long-term support to surviving Families of fallen Soldiers with the goal to reassure survivors that they remain valued members of the Army Family.
  • MilSpouse Money Mission educates and empowers military Spouses to elevate their Families by making smart money moves.
  • National Guard Family Program supports and educates families along the path of their National Guard life.
