During this interactive webinar, Caitlin Krause, an experienced designer, author, educator and founder of MindWise, an interactive consultancy focused on digital well-being, human connection and healthy relationships with technology, will help participants strengthen attention, emotional intelligence, creativity and connection in complex, technology-mediated environments.
Krause will explore attention as a vital personal and collective resource and share practical ways to build healthier relationships with technology. Participants will examine how digital overload, fragmented attention, artificial intelligence and constant connectivity can affect presence, creativity, communication and belonging. Through reflection, accessible practices and real-world examples, Krause will introduce tools for aligning attention with intention, strengthening meaningful connection and creating moments of restoration within the demands of daily life. This session will offer a human-centered approach to digital well-being designed to help participants use technology with greater awareness, agency and purpose.
Krause has advised organizations including NASA, the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. State Department, Google, LinkedIn and IDEO and has presented at TED about emotional intelligence, storytelling and awe-inspired spatial computing. Krause holds a B.A. from Duke University and an MFA from Lesley University. Her work explores how intentional attention, human connection and creative practice can support well-being in increasingly technology-mediated lives. In June 2026, she received the Nextant Prize at the Augmented World Expo for her contributions to human-centered technology and experience design.
